Papa took DJ to the State Fair :)

Hanging out at Papa's Today :) If you look closely, you can see DJ wearing Papa's work boots. So my dad went and bought DJ some Cute Boots and Lightning McQueen Light Up Shoes.

This is the picture I got to let me know that they were at the State Fair :)

R.I.P DJ AM

DJ AM -- the celebrity club disc jockey known for dating starlets, collecting hundreds of sneakers and surviving a horrific plane crash -- was found dead an apparent overdose in his SoHo apartment today, police said.

Cops found prescription drug bottles inside DJ AM's residence at 210 Lafayette St. after the 36-year-old's lifeless body spotted face-down in his bed at around 5:23 p.m. by a friend, who was concerned he hadn't heard from the performer in several days, sources said. Emergency medical workers responding to a 911 call from the friend declared DJ AM dead at the scene. No foul play is suspected.

DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, had twittered recently that he had finished wrapping up an MTV reality show about drug addiction. Prescription drugs and a crack pipe were found at the scene. Bottles of pills were found in both the bedroom and the kitchen. He was wearing sweatpants and no shirt. Friends of the disc jockey gathered outside his apartment tonight, hugging each other. They declined to speak with reporters.

The Philadelphia native, whose real name was Adam Michael Goldstein, was a former member of the band Crazy Town, which scored the smash rap-rock hit "Butterfly" in 2001. His work behind turntables in hotspots around the world paid him up to $25,000 or more per night --helping fund what became a collection of more than 1,000 sneakers. DJ AM had high-profile romances with Nicole Richie, to whom he was once engaged, as well as with actress Mandy Moore.

Last September 19, DJ AM and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker were badly burned in the crash of a private plane in South Carolina that killed four other people on-board. The plane crashed as it headed down the runway during takeoff.

In his own last post on Twitter, dated Tuesday, DJ AM quoted a Grandmaster Flash song: "New York, New York. Big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain't always what it seems."

Employee Appreciation Day at the Zoo! Week 31

Dave works at Niello and his company had there "Niello Appreciation Day" at the Zoo last night from 5-10pm. They closed the zoo down and it was only for the Niello employees and their families. There was a good 200+ people there. Dave and I both got 2 "Adult Beverage" tickets and the kids got to see all the animals at the zoo. All the rides were free and they had a catered dinner there. The kids had a lot of fun!

Here are some pictures from the night...

Crazy Kids :)

I love it when my kids are playing and then it gets quiet and you go check on them and this is what you find....

Photobucket

Photobucket

I guess she was a little tired and fell asleep while playing... lol

We were over at my dads yesterday and DJ has this fascination with shoes and hats.. LOL So he came out of my dads room wearing this get-up! hahaha My sister and I could not stop laughing.

Photobucket

He was in his Buzz Lightyear Underwear, Cowboy Boots, Cowboy Hat, and his Surfer Shirt... lol

Can you tell he loves this dog???

Photobucket

Today I had my dad bring over his clippers so I could cut DJ's hair. Once again he flips out and runs away when he sees them. So my dad brought some Reece's Peanut Butter Cups over to maybe bribe him with, but that didn't work, Then he tried bribing him with a ride in his truck and that didn't work either. So my dad left and told me that when he got his hair cut to call him and he would take DJ for a ride.So I had to hold him down and cut his hair. He was not happy with me..

Photobucket

I called my dad and told him that his hair was cut and DJ kept saying "Papa Ride" "Papa Truck" so he told me to have everyone ready and we would go for a ride. LOL We ended up going to the mall and my dad got them both 2 new outfits :)

Now they are sleeping and we are going to go to the Zoo when Dave gets off of work because it is Neillo's Employee Appreciation Day and the employees and their families get in free and we get the whole Zoo to ourselves. They are also going to be doing a Buffet Style dinner for everyone! So Zoo pictures will be tomorrow!

Worst Day Ever!

Yesterday was one of the worst days i could have ever had...

So I had to go to Target and get some things for the house and get a present for Reagan's birthday buddy :) So we get there and I get them in the double cart and head to the Starbucks that is in there. I get my usual Grande Espresso Frappy with 1 sweet n low and whip, I also decide to get the kids some chocolate milk * BIG Mistake* So they are chugging there chocolate milk and I am shopping around. All of a sudden Reagan starts throwing up everywhere, While we are in target... OMG!!! So I had to buy her a new outfit cause we had more errands to run, So I just grabbed a cheap dress and headed to the checker. Went out to the car and changed her in the basket.. LMAO People were looking at me weird. Oh Well! So we run the rest of our errands and I realize that we forgot some things that I needed at Target because I was in a hurry to get Reagan out of her Vomit clothes.

So we head back to Target and when we went back they didn't have the double carts so I had to put DJ in the basket part. Well DJ started messing around and wouldn't sit down. Finally I told him to stop or he is going to fall out of the cart.... And OMG I swear not 5 minutes later DJ falls head first out of the cart onto the ground. people were looking at me like I was the worst parent in the world because he fell out of the cart. He had a big goose egg on his forehead.... I called my dad and told him what had happened and he told me to keep him up for at least 4 hours. So we head to my dads to have him check out DJ's lump on his head. Dad okay'd him. Not to mention both kids had been screaming and crying all damn day...

Ohh... the joys of parenthood I guess. And then when I posted that on FB yesterday my uncle had to tell me that "Reagan wouldn't have thrown up if she was shopping at walmart" WTF just because you work there.. LMAO...

I am so glad that yesterday is in the past! I do not wish that kind of day on ANYONE!!!

So I called my dad last night and asked if he could watch the kids so we could go to the movies, and surprisingly he said yes!

So the movie we will be seeing is....

This movie looks hilarious! And the first one was pretty funny too! Oh and you cant forget the price.. $3.00 per adult!!! Whoo Hoo!!!

Week 30.. Were back!

We are finally back in our place!!! They put all new carpet in the place. I was so excited to see that! We have been putting everything back into its original places, and we are still not done. I called our Ins. Company and made a claim with everything that got damaged. So now its just the waiting game. We were able to save some of the clothes, but a lot of them are ruined, especially our comforter and my ugg boots :(

DJ and Reagan have been little terrors lately. DJ is getting his 2 year molars in and Reagan is getting some more teeth. The other night all of us were playing on the floor and Reagan got in DJ's way so he pushed her and she tripped over her foot and whacked her forehead on the coffee table. She cried and cried... We didn't have any ice so I got some raspberries and put them in a Ziploc bag... Her forehead is still black and blue :(

DJ keeps making these hilarious faces.. When I ask him to smile.. This is what I get:

WTF?!?

Saturday evening rolls around and we are feeding the kids. I had gone through a lot of our clothes for the yard sale next weekend, and we were getting the kids ready for bed... Well, Dave went into our room to get a binkie for Reagan and there is a good 3'' of standing water in our master bathroom and a good 1-2'' on our bedroom floor and hallway.. The toilet went ape shit and started gushing. I have never eve seen a toilet do that before. So Dave tells me to call the after hours maint. to have them come out and see what they can do... I stepped outside and saw a maint. guy coming out of our downstairs neighbors house and asked if our floors were wet, Wet is an understatement... The maint. guys came in and told us that they were going to put us in one of there furnished apartment suites.

We know the drill because last year (Jan, 08) we were put in a suite because they found mold in the apartment... (we really need to get a house). So they tell us to get anything we need and take it to the new apartment. We have my dad bring over his big ice chest that way we could get all of our food over in one trip. The kids have been off the hook for the past few days because they are out of there element and there are no toys over here.

I have been going over to the apartment daily and taking pictures of the progress. There are big holes in my walls now.... After they are done, we have to file a claim with our Renters Insurance because of some of the things that have been damaged. I know a lot of mine and Dave's clothes are damaged because they are soaking wet in bins, so they will have mold on them, a few of my purses were filled with water, my Uggs are completely ruined :(

Here are some progress pictures from day One to Present:
