Shout Review and Giveaway!

Shout has saved my kids clothes on more occasions than I can count. I use shout on a daily basis and love everything about this product! My kids are so rough on their clothes and for Reagan being such a girly girl, she can really put a stain on clothes!

I recently entered Reagan's picture into the Shout Unstructured Play Contest and guess what...

Miss. Reagan's photo was when she was on the beach as a baby.. She loved the sand and water! I was so excited! Shout is an amazing stain fighter and I wouldn't use anything else on my kids clothes! Even my clothes!

M oldest played Tee Ball and the stains from sliding into home were insane. Who knew that grass and dirt would cause so many stains.. Thank goodness I had Shout Wipes handy and the shout spray when I got home. His tee ball pants really took a beating this season!

It doesn't really help that my youngest needs to feed himself and makes a complete mess.. once again Shout comes to the rescue!

So right now you can win a Shout Stain Package that includes:

  • Shout® Advanced Ultra Gel Brush
  • Shout® Wipes
  • Shout® Triple Acting Formula
  • Shout® Color Catcher

A few friends and I are currently hosting a Fundraiser/Auction.  We are raising money for our dear friend
Nikki who unexpectedly and very abruptly lost her mother. The money raised will go to funeral expenses and
other funeral needs.
Nikki sells Avon and I am sure she would love it if you would buy from her!

A few of us are also going to donate a portion of our Scentsy Sales to the family.

If you would like to join in, please head over to Adventure in Mommy Land Blog's Facebook Page.

Thank you so much!

Happy 5th Birthday, DJ!

David Theodore,

It has taken me a few days to write this letter to you. I am completely blown away that you are already Five years old. I don't know why a fifth birthday is so tough, but it seems like a right of passage type age. You are not a baby or even a toddler anymore. You are a Smart, Loving, Hilariously Funny Five Year Old young boy. Its hard to believe that you will be starting Kindergarten in a few short months.

Your little sister and little brother look up to you so much and want to be just like you. They love to play with whatever you are playing with and love to just be around you. You are a natural comedian, you get that from mommy. The things that you say are truly hilarious and you can make anyone laugh. You have such a  tender heart and love everyone that you meet. If someone is sad, you will definitely cheer them up.

It is just so hard to believe that five years have passed in a blink of an eye. You have learned and explored so much. You have grown in so many ways and I am so very proud of you! You played Tee Ball for the first time and did absolutely amazing! You have learned how to read simple words and even write them out! You are one smart cookie!

I love you so much DJ! I am so excited to see what this year brings you! Kindergarten, New Friends, Reading, Learning how to Swim & Much More!

You will always be my little baby ♥

Love you forever and always,

Time Stamped: 5:40am
The very second you came into our lives

Thank you for making me a mommy!

Summertime Fun!

We went over to my dads yesterday so the kids could play and run some of their energy off.. They love going over there and playing on their swing set and with the dogs.

Allen is finally big enough to climb on the horse himself!

My beautiful big girl!

 Having fun!

I used to swing Allen in this and he would fall asleep :)

Apparently this is how Reagan likes to swing...

DJ knows how to swing all by himself now!!

This little guy loves this car!

My dad got Reagan and Allen Life Jackets yesterday! We have had the monster one since last summer and since it is getting H.O.T. I realized that I needed to get more! After getting home, the older two and I went out to the pool and they had so much fun! They did not want to get out of the water and go inside for dinner. Here are their Life Jackets...
{all purchased at Target}
Puddle Jumper Kids Life Jacket $18.99
Puddle Jumper Kids Life Jacket $18.99
Stearns Boy Infant Hydroprene Vest $30.99

The Honest Co. Diaper Review

I recently saw that Jessica Alba has launched her own line of Eco Friendly Diapers, Wipes, Bath & Body and Cleaning items.

Right now you can get a Free Trial* of either their Honest Diaper Bundle or their Honest Essential Bundle.
*Just pay S&H of $4.95

Since my children have skin issues and the only diapers that they could/can wear are Huggies. They would break out in diaper rashes if they were in anything else. So I was a little hesitant to try these out. After looking at everything and seeing that they were 100% non-toxic, Chlorine-free, sustainable and made with plant-based materials - ensuring your baby is safe and not exposed to any harsh or synthetic chemicalsSo that sold me on the trial...

{Allen's Little Skull Booty!}

When you sign up for your free trial, you fill out a questionnaire and it will let you pick out what pattern diapers you want and helps you pick the size of diapers your child should be in. The patterns are too cute! I got the Skulls, Anchors, Gingham & White.

Here are the patterns you can choose from:

I got my Trial Pack of 7 diapers & 10ct wipes on Monday and I ripped the adorable box open! I started examining them and put Allen in one of the Skull diapers. They are a lot like Huggies, which I like. The only thing that I didn't like, was the wipes. They were very thin like Pampers Wipes. I am used to the thick Huggies Wipes.

The Honest Diaper Bundle is $79.95 and comes with

6 packs of Diapers {size/weight depends on quantity}
4 - 80ct packs of Wipes
*Allen is in Size 4's so it will be 6 packs of 31 diapers will be 186 diapers in the bundle.

Size Chart:

The Honest Family Essentials Bundle is $35.95 and comes with 5 Products a month and you can mix and match any of the following each month:

Body Oil, Bubble Bath, Conditioner, Dish Soap, Auto Dish Detergent, Hand Sanitizer {8oz x1}, Hand Sanitizer {2oz x2}, Sunscreen, Surface Cleaner, Shampoo, Body Lotion, Hand Soap, Healing Balm, Laundry Detergent & Wipes.

You can also purchase everything separately or get BOTH Bundles. If you sign up for both bundles, they waive the shipping!

I'm the one with THAT child...

So we finished Allen's Allergy Testing on Monday and boy was I shocked about one of the allergies..

His first set showed that he was allergic to

Bermuda Grass, Pine Trees, Cat Dander and Orange Trees

Well on Monday, we went in for his 2nd set and the food allergy testing. Poor little guy had to get the dermals again on his upper arms and then the food on his back. He was so mad that he accidentally slammed his head on the counter when I was trying to hold him down :( That little guy is super strong!

After... Poor little guy :(

His 2nd set showed that he is allergic to

PEANUTS, ORANGES, Pine Nuts and we already knew about Dairy...

Ugh, this poor kid :( After his testing I called my dad and told him he was allergic to peanuts and this is what my dad said:

"No child should ever have to go through their childhood without a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich! Just give him the Creamy, that way he won't get the extra peanuts!"

oh dad!

His poor back and arms were all red and bumpy :(

I am so glad that the testing is over and that we can figure out a plan!

Do any of you have food allergies, or any of your children?
How do you deal with it?
Is it Severe/Life threatening or is it manageable?

Tomorrow I have a Review on Jessica Alba's Eco Friendly Diaper/Wipes & Body Products Line!! Don't miss it!!
