Baby Games...
so i took dj to our mall for the baby games... he was in the 8-10 month diaper derby (crawling) and before his thing, he was crawling all over the place. so when we get up there he freezes. me and my dad were waving keys glasses and anything else to try and get him to crawl to us. but he got scared and started crying. he came in 3rd. and he came in 3rd for Best Dressed Athlete. i was so pissed cause this mean lady entered her child in last minute and came in first. oh well. he got a ribbon!
here are a few pics of him at home. i forgot the camera UGH...

so everytime i go to find dj, he is in the bathroom standing up against the toilet looking in.... lol i have to get pictures of him like that. the other morning when i was getting ready he was so excited to see me flush the toilet (i threw my q-tips in there).. so now he throws toilet paper in there just so i can flush it. he has played in the water but thankfully i had cleaned the toilet that morning! little boys are so funny!

26 Weeks!!!
WOW we are only about 14 weeks away from seeing reagan!!!!
Here are some stats!
Your baby now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber), from head to heel. Her weight will more than triple between now and birth as she rapidly puts on baby fat. She'll need that fat to help adjust to colder temperatures outside the womb and as a source of energy and calories in the first days of life. It's not uncommon for newborns, especially those who are breastfed , to lose weight (sometimes as much as 10 percent of their birth weight) in the first week after birth. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

Glucose Test...
I went in for my Glucose testing Yesterday and drank the nasty orange drink. nothing but sugar. i thought i was going to throw up. but we should have the results at my next appt!
Here is some info on the test:
Also known as: Blood sugar, Fasting blood sugar, FBS, blood glucose, Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT or GTT),
Urine glucoseFormal name: Blood Glucose and Urine Glucose
Pregnant women are usually screened for gestational diabetes late in their pregnancies, unless they have early symptoms or previously have had gestational diabetes. When a woman has gestational diabetes, her doctor will usually order glucose levels throughout the rest of her pregnancy and after delivery to monitor her condition.
The oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) is done to:
Check pregnant women for gestational diabetes. When done for this purpose, the test is called a glucose challenge screening test, and it is usually done during the 24th to the 28th week of pregnancy. You have an increased chance of developing gestational diabetes if you:
Have had gestational diabetes during a previous pregnancy.
Have previously given birth to a baby who weighed more than 8.8 lb.
Are younger than age 25 and were overweight before getting pregnant.
Confirm the presence of gestational diabetes if other blood glucose measurements are high.
Screen women who have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) for diabetes.
Diagnose prediabetes and diabetes.
Less than 140* mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L)
Normal screen
140* mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L) and over
Abnormal, needs OGTT (see below)
* Some use a cutoff of >130 mg/dL (7.2 mmol/L) because that identifies 90% of women with gestational diabetes, compared to 80% identified using the threshold of >140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L).

DJ had his 9 month check-up on friday the 4th. he is getting so big! His stats are:
Weight: 20lbs 11oz
Length: 29 1/2 inches long
Head Circ: 47 cm
He is one tall boy! dr said he is doing great and he is right on schedule with the weight, length, and head scales! we asked if the way dj is crawling is affecting the way his muscles are growing and he said no. so that is good. i cant believe dj will be 1 in just 2 short months!
