Sheesh...

A whole week without blogging.. Things have been so busy lately..

This will just be my recap of everything that has happened over the last week...

Tuesday, I had my weight check for my Surrogacy stuff. Everything went pretty well. I hate that the dr scale is always a pound or two off.. lol We are still waiting on a yay or nay from the agency/ivf dr for the go ahead.. I also posted this picture and didn't realize until I got bombarded with facebook comments... Ooops!

{No babies here!!}

Thursday, Allen had a horrible reaction to the grass. His arms, face & legs were covered in hives/welts and red splotchy areas.. He was breathing fine, so I didn't have to use the Epi-Pen, but bad enough I had to run to the store and grab some benadryl. I called his ped and they wanted to see him that day. The benadryl helped about 75% of the reaction, so he was getting some every 4-6 hours. Poor guy :(

Saturday we had a few birthday parties to go to.. The kids had a lot of fun and got to tie-dye shirts! I also made Homemade Monkey Bread!! The kids devoured it!!

Sunday was Easter!! The kids had so much fun hunting for eggs and playing with their Easter Baskets!!

Sunday was also the day my husband had a complete breakdown when our Two year old threw the remote at our not even 2 month old tv.. Yes, Allen should know better than to throw things, but he has to remember that it is just a tv. Allen realizes that he did something wrong and keeps telling Dave "sorry daddy, I broke the tb.." :( The tv can be replaced..

{Warranty covers everything except theft and if we do something to it...}

Yesterday, I had errands to run so my dad kidnapped Allen and they decided to go to the California Academy of Science. My dad said that Allen was amazing and that he actually had to pry Allen away from each exhibit. Allen would just sit there and watch the fish for a good 20 minutes. This little boy loves anything and everything that has to do with sea life! He is also infatuated with Nemo! He watches that movie at least 2-3 times a day and doesn't get sick of it.

If you got through all of this... Congratulations!

Hope you all have a great day!!

Wait, What?

I can't believe that christmas is in 2 days.. Where has this year gone?

Both kids had Christmas Parties at school and Allen and I were able to hang at Reagan's party! They had a Pancake Breakfast with Sausage & Fruit! My dad met us there and Reagan loved that Papa went to her school party! I also made Reindeer Food for all of the kids in Reagan's class :)

Friday night Reagan was up all night coughing and crying :( She woke up yesterday morning with a 102.8 fever and was not feeling well at all. All she wanted to do was sleep. I called our Ped's on call # and was able to get her in to see a dr in a different office. When we got there, she kept falling asleep while we waited. When we got into the room, her fever went up to 103.5. Sister was not feeling good at all. They did a Strep Culture on her and it was positive. So she gets to spend christmas with strep :( When we got home, I gave her some meds and then it was back to sleep. I love her cuddles, I just wish she wasn't so sick.

Sister is feeling a little better today. She was actually up and walking around today. Big Bro is starting to cough now.. Hopefully it doesn't get as bad as Sisters! I would like for this vacation to be free of any sick children!

I finally got all of my christmas shopping done. All in one trip! Wahoo! I am ready for all of this madness to be over. We took Allen to go see Santa on tuesday and he just about shit his pants!! He talks about santa all the time and for him to actually see him in person was amazing! Its like he was starstruck! He did NOT want to get off of santas lap! He wanted to stay the whole afternoon with him. After we saw santa, he got to play at the play area in the mall.

Hope everyone has an amazing Christmas!!!

Life Changing!

What a crazy day we had yesterday!!

I got an email from the Founder/Director of my Agency yesterday saying that she was in town and wanted me to join her and a few other Surro's that are in the area for lunch! Of course I said yes! It was really nice to meet other Surro's that are in different stages of their journey's! I absolutely love, love, love my agency and everyone who works there! I had learned so much and cant wait for these next few months to pass!

Other exciting news is on my Surrogacy Blog!!

The kids have today off, so I am thinking of bundling them up and heading to the park! That way they can sleep when I have my International Conference Call!

The kids made Gingerbread Houses on Friday... I will let the pictures speak for themselves...

Don't Forget.. Just a few more days to enter my 1000th Post Giveaway!!! Make sure you enter!

I also got a new necklace from Western Chic Couture! I absolutely love it and will be doing a giveaway on one of these in a few weeks!!!

Hope everyone has a great week!!!!

Sacramento Children's Home Holiday Fundraiser!

This year, I wanted to do something loving and meaningful for the holiday season, so I have decided to partner up with the Sacramento Children's Home. I will have a Fundraiser on each of my Scentsy, Velata & Grace Adele websites. 100% of my proceeds from the Fundraisers will go to the Sacramento Children's Home.

The Sacramento Children's Home is committed to helping build strong families; to opening doors to the future; to maximize potential; and ending the cycle of child abuse. The Sacramento Children's Home provides care to the most vulnerable children and families in the Sacramento Community. Established in 1867, the Sacramento Children's Home has always been deeply committed to the care of children and families. Their community-based, residential and educational programs address the issues of children, newborn to twenty one, and range from prevention of child abuse and parenting education, to acute trauma treatment.

Today, the Sacramento Children's Home serves approximately 4,200 children and 3,700 families through residential and community-based programs each year. Their programs have been recognized and awarded by the local community and beyond. The tradition of service continues through residential, community and education programs that span a greater range of ages and broader range of needs that any other child/family support agency in the region. Their programs address the needs of children from prenatal through young adulthood by combining prevention, intervention and intensive trauma care to strengthen families and give children safe, stable homes.

How Your Support Helps - Your support makes a big difference in the life of a child.
$15 provides new toothbrushes
$25 funds one birthday party
$50 provides diapers for one baby
$100 supplies new sheets for a child

You can make a child's wish come true. The Sacramento Children's Home Holiday Giving Program provides a stocking, present, and gift card for food to more than 2,400 local children and families. Volunteers help in a variety of ways during this time of the year.

Let's make their holidays a little brighter this year!
