Hey there, beautiful!

Makeup parties are the best!!

I was recently invited to a Makeup Party and decided to have one of my own! The Makeup Rep had all different kinds of eye shadows, blushes, foundations, lipsticks and more! All Discounted!! I love getting new makeup, I just don't like paying the outrageous prices. So when the opportunity came up, I jumped on it!

Right when she got there, I had her put aside a Naked 2 Palate for me. These are usually the first to go. I just let all of the girls shop and I waited until everyone left to do my shopping :) I didn't want to get an elbow to the face haha.. So here is the loot that I brought home, along with the prices I paid and the prices in stores/websites.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palate - $28
{Sephoras Website-  $50}
---------------------------------------------
M.A.C Mineralize Blush - $10 each
{M.A.C Website - $25 each}

M.A.C. Haute & Naughty Mascara - $10
{M.A.C. Website - $20}
-----------------------------------------
M.A.C. Eye Shadow - $5
{M.A.C. Website - $15}
-----------------------------------------
Benefit Brow Pencil - $5
{Sephora Website - $20}

Dior Brush Set - $15
{Macy's Website - $65}
-------------------------------------
Total if store bought: $220
Host Credit: $39 {free makeup money!!}
I spent a total of  $55 on all of this!
Total Savings: $165

It is absolutely crazy how much makeup is these days. I am usually the one who goes to Target and gets the e.l.f. shadows. Ever since I had kids, I will rarely spend a lot on makeup. I would always find better ways to spend the money. All of the ladies that came, had such a great time! They were all huddled around the table for a good hour! I will definitely be having another partay!

Review: Dollar Shave Club..

Before Valentine's Day, Dave was telling me about this website that sends you blades for a few dollars a month. With V-Day coming up, I took a mental note.

{Hilarious!!}

Well, I decided to sign Dave and my Dad up for the Dollar Shave Club. I was a little apprehensive at first since they were so cheap and I had personally never heard of them, but I decided to try them out!

The Humble Twin
For just $1 a month ($3 total with shipping and handling) you can sign up to receive the Humble Twin razor. This razor, as it’s name implies is a basic, twin-blade. With your first month’s order you will receive the razor handle and five cartridges. Each month after that, as long as you maintain your subscription, you’ll receive five cartridges. Each cartridge is made of stainless steel with an aloe vera strip for moisture. They are constructed with a shallow pivot head to contour your face and provide a nice, clean shave.

The 4X
If you want to take it up a notch and pay just a little more, for $6 a month you can try the 4X, or as the company likes to refer to it, “the Lover’s Blade.” As with the Humble Twin, you’ll receive a compatible handle with your first month’s blades. Unlike the Humble Twin, the 4X features 4 stainless steel blades with an aloe vera moisture strip and a wide, open back. The 4X also pivots 90 degrees for an even closer shave. Dollar Shave Club also touts the added bonus with the 4X is that your girlfriend can use it! The 4X subscription delivers four cartridges a month right to your doorstep.

The Executive
And finally, for $9 a month, you can up your shaving game with The Executive subscription. Like the two before it, The Executive includes a compatible handle with your first month’s delivery along with three cartridges. These cartridges feature six stainless steel blades with a moisture strip that includes Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, and Lavender to help sooth sensitive skin. The Executive also features a rubber guard bar to bring your facial hair up for a deeper shave. This subscription features three cartridges per month, delivered to your door.

When it came yesterday, I decided to open it up and take a peek!

I was surprised with how nice they look. Dave used it this morning and said it was better than his expensive razor. My dad even liked his! I chose "The 4X" for them.

I am very happy with these! Dave is happy & so is my dad! So I will chalk this up as a WIN for ME!!

*I was not compensated in any way for this review. I purchased these and am giving my honest opinion.

Play Date: Sacramento Children's Museum!

Since the kids are out of school for the week, we decided to call up some friends and have a play date at the Sacramento Children's Museum! Reagan was so excited to find out that her besties Madeline & Gillian were going to be there!

The kids and I have never been here before but I have always wanted to take them! When we walked in, the kids all took off in different directions.. lol It was pretty busy, so I stayed with Allen. This place was a lot of fun!

Allen loved the water tables! After about 30 minutes, he was ready to move onto a different area. We went over to the Art Room and the kids started to paint! About every 30 minutes, the people who work there hose off the windows and kids can start over! They also got to make fun masks!

Allen was so excited to make crafts with the girls! Such a big kid!

There is a dress up area for the kids and you can be a Dr, Pilot, Police Officer, Mail Carrier, Dentist, Fire Fighter and a few others. DJ decided that he wanted to be a Mail Carrier. Amanda and I would walk around and put the mail in all of the mail boxes and he would go around and get the mail. He did this for a good 45 minutes!

The girls played house and went to the grocery store and shopped for food! They made everyone dinner and then cleaned up.

 Allen was obsessed with these.. He would race all around and grab all of the golf balls.
Here is DJ as a Mail Carrier.. Reagan was sitting in there, but got out before I could get the picture..
Back at the water tables...

Here is our "Six Pack" for the day.. They had an absolute blast!!

We will definitely be heading back to the Children's Museum!

Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream!

Reagan and I went to Disney on Ice on Saturday and had an absolute blast!!!

This was both our first time going. She was so excited and had so much fun!

Dare to Dream had three stories to tell.. New-Comers Tiana & Rapunzel and everyone's favorite Cinderella.. Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy came out and the crowd went wild! They started the show with Tiana's Dream, then Cinderella and last but not least, Rapunzel! Each story was about 30 minutes long. Cinderella's was split up into two parts for the intermission. Reagan actually thought it was over and almost cried because she didn't get to see Rapunzel.. I assured her that everyone would be back in about fifteen minutes!

Rapunzel's story was probably both mine and Reagan's favorite part! Rapunzel and Flynn flew through the air and it was just amazing! I really need to take the kids to disneyland now!! At the end of the show, ALL of the Princesses & their Princes came out in these beautiful gowns! Reagan was naming all of them off.. "Mommy, look there's Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel!" When the show ended, Reagan started to cry because she didn't want to go home! She wanted to stay and watch it again! Poor Reagan was so heartbroken :( I promised her that we would go again next time they were in town! That wasn't good enough... She cried while we waited in the horrendous traffic getting out of the parking lot and cried on the freeway.. It finally got quiet.. I turned around and she was passed out!

After all was said and done, we both had a blast and cant wait until the next show!! And now for the blurry phone pics!! lol

 Princess & The Frog!!

 Cinderella!

 Reagan was not digging the intermission! She wanted to get back to the show!
 Rapunzel's Story!

 Finale!!!

For some reason, I can't get a certain video to upload.. Ugh!

Here is another one! They are introducing Tiana's Story!
