Reagan's Baptism... Week 17

Wow what a busy day! Everything went wonderfully despite the weather... 101 degrees! OMG!

We all got to the church around 1:15 today. Reagan's Godparents are really great friends of ours. Dennis and Melissa are new parents to there daughter Sora!

Reagan did not want to wear her dress, probably because it was so hot outside and she was so flush from being in the heat. We put her hat on her and she didn't want to wear it...

I couldn't believe how many families were there to have there children baptized. There must have been at least 8 families! If you squint your eyes you can see us!

For one part of the ceremony we had to get Reagan's chest open so the pastor could put oil on her chest. She didn't like that at all! But we got through it and she was better.

While we were all standing up there, my dad had DJ with him. I am so surprised at how well behaved DJ was. He just played in the pew next to papa. I was so proud of him!

Later on when the pastor drew a cross on Reagan's ear and mouth, she tried to gnaw on his thumb! We were laughing so hard. We had to take her binkie out so he could do it. she thought it was a new binkie or something!!! hahahaha

She wasn't too upset when they put the water on her head. she probably thought she was getting her hair washed.. haha j/k. But she did really good. She kept nodding off during the ceremony, poor baby girl was so tired!

Dennis & Melissa had to go over and get a candle lit and when they came back Reagan wanted the candle. She started fussing because she wanted the flame, she just stared ant it and tried to reach for it many, many times :)

After the ceremony was over we got a few good pics of all of us!

After church we went to my dads house for some sandwiches and cake! Dennis & Melissa couldn't come because they had to pick up there daughter, which is totally understandable :)

Happy 2nd Anniversary! Our Journey Thus Far...

Yesterday was Mine and Dave's 2 year wedding anniversary! I cant believe we have been married for 2 years! Crazy how fast time flies.

Flashback....

Dave and I met at our apartment complex when me and my old roommate moved in upstairs. We invited the boys up for some drinks and everything just smoothed out :) He asked me out to dinner and of course I said yes. He took me to Olive Garden... Yummy! We officially became a Couple on June 24, 2006.

February 22, 2007 Dave proposes to me. He bought me a beautiful diamond ring. Of course I said YES! We decided we wanted to get married before DJ came, so we set the date for May 12, 2007.

We went up to South Lake Tahoe on May 12, 2007 and got married at a cute little chapel by the ocean. We had Family and close friends there. It was a beautiful day and I actually found my dress at Macy's in the Junior Formal Dept. LMAO! So Me and My 37 Week Pregnant Self Waddled down the Isle with My Daddy on my arm.

After 3 years and 2 kids... things get a little crazy but at the end of the night it is all about family! We have had MANY ups and downs, but we get through it.

Rest In Peace Sweet Baby Kayleigh...

I am so heart broken... I learned this morning that beautiful Kayleigh. went to Jesus last night after a courageous, but much too short, life. Would you please wrap your loving arms around this family as they mourn their amazing daughter's passing?

Wow 16 weeks already! I cant believe how fast this year is going by!

Kyliegh was born on the 8th. I went and saw them at the hospital today! She is Gorgeous!!!

This week has been a pretty boring week...

Reagan is taking more and more steps!!! She still has no teeth.. LOL She loves following DJ around. She loves him so much! The other day she was eating Cherrios and one got stuck on her chin.... I laughed so hard!

DJ is learning new tricks everyday! His new thing is climbing onto the coffee table and then jumping off onto the couch. He scares me every time he does it. I cant believe how big he is getting! time flies when were having fun!!!

Tomorrow for mothers day we are going to go and put flowers on Dave's Mom's headstone, its her birthday too. And then go put some on my grandma & GiGi's nitches. Then after that, maybe take the kids to the park :)

Reagan's baptism is on sunday 5/17. Im excited!
