Our IKEA Trip =) Week 43

I love walking around IKEA and getting ideas for our "Future House". I also love how they have everything laid out and their show rooms. And its always a great trip when the kids mind and listen! They did amazing!

Dave and I found a super cute bed/bunk bed for DJ and Reagan (when she gets a little older). It fits twin mattresses and you can change the sides to different colors. And its not that tall. I'm 5' tall and I can comfortably reach around the top bunk.

You can also buy a canopy for the top bunk.

We also found some really cute storage bins for the kids' room. They have toys galore and we are currently using old laundry bins for their toys. The bins come in 5 different colors so we can get something neutral for both of them.

I want to get the kids a table and chairs for Christmas that they can have in their room. Everywhere I have looked, They are all over $50. Well, Surprise I found a cute set for $30. I was thinking of painting it for them.

So one of my Sassy Mommas Ersula Found a bunch of DIY projects for Christmas, or any other holiday. Well on one of her links there was a Play Kitchen made out of an old Entertainment Center. Well my dad has an old entertainment center at his house so I am going to make the kids a Play Kitchen for them for Christmas! Im so excited!!!!! Here is what the lady's looked like...

Week 42.. yeah im a little late.

Well this past week has been hectic...

But I am glad to say that the kids are feeling so much better. They are back to their healthy hyper selves...

No More Sickies...

The kids are finally feeling better. Yahoo!

Reagan is finishing up her last medication and we just got her inhaler with chamber. I gave it to the pharmacy on tuesday and it took till thursday for insurance to cover it. Ugh what a pain, but it did save me $200.

DJ is back to his hyper self and not listening, I swear I was never like this as a child... So I blame it on dave ;) He was a very very active/hyper child, and Im afraid that dj is now just a mini dave with the hyperness...

Reagan is starting to scream and throw a temper tantrum when she doesnt get what she wants, kinda like me... SShhhh I didnt tell you that... Her hair is finally getting long enough to where I can put ALL of her hair in a pony tail!!! YAY!!!

Well better get going....

What a long week! Week 41

OMG this past week has been LOOONG! We have had a little bit of everything in this week: Took the kids to Fairytale Town, Emergency Room, Very sick kiddos, Went Trick or Treating and had my First Blog Giveaway!

First off... On monday we went and had the kids' halloween pictures taken. They were not happy about that! DJ didnt want to get his costume on and reagan was just running away! We did manage to get a decent picture of everyone =)

He was NOT happy to be there...

The final one... Dave and I had to get into the picture in order for us to get a decent one of the kids.

After the pictures we took the kids to Fairytale Town. They were having a blast with everything that was there. DJ loved going down all of the slides and running around. My sister came with us also.

Monday night was horrible. After we left Fairytale Town DJ started throwing up in the car, We pulled over and changed him and cleaned out his seat. When we got home I took his temp and he was burning up. I gave him some tylenol and Ibproufen. I decided to check reagans temp and she was also burning up. So I knew the kids were starting to get sick. I monitored the fevers all night and they just kept getting higher and higher. So I decided to take them to the E.R. Well I am glad I did because when we got there Reagan had a temp of 103.6 and DJ had 102.5 temp. After we were seen, DJ had a left ear infection, fever, & Croup (it was mis-diagnosed as pneumonia). Reagan had a Double ear infection, cough & fever. They were super sick!

DJ was so excited to go trick or treating. For the past week he kept saying Happy Halloween, Trick or Treat, Candy! lol He couldnt wait to get into his costume. This year was a fun year for trick or treating for dj, reagan still didnt get the concept of it.
