"You have a strong boy.."
*Some how this post got deleted.. I hate you right now Blogger! So lets see if I can remember everything!*
Allen had his 4 month well visit yesterday and he is doing great! When we got there, all of the nurses could not believe how big he has grown and how cute he is :) We were called into a room and the nurse weighed and measured him then told us that Dr would be in soon :) While we were waiting, Allen thought the paper was a nice tasty treat..
Weight: 15lbs 1.5oz (75th%)
Length: 26.5 inches long (95th%)
Head: 42cm (50%)
Dr came in and checked him out. She said that his skin is looking a lot better and that we should just keep doing what we are doing! We bathe him with Aquaphor Baby Wash and Moisturize with Eucerin Intensive Care Lotion. We talked about his head and face. He has had Torticollis and favors his right side. He does not like his head turned to the left. I had also told her about my concerns with his face looking droopy. She told me that he does in fact have a mild case of Plagiocephaly. His left side of his face is a little lower than his right and his left eye lid won't open as big as the right. She is going to put a referral in for P.T. and hopefully he will be approved. The exercises at home are not fixing his Torticollis so its now on to therapy. Other than his head/face, he is definitely ahead of the game and is pretty advanced... He showed her how he can sit on his own and gave her lots and lots of smiles.. Such a little flirt!
Then it was on to the dreaded shots.. The nurse came in and gave him his Oral Roto Virus and he did great! I layed him down and he took the first shot like a champ... The next two were a whole different story.. He flipped his lid. But right after the nurse put the band-aids on him, he was fine. Mommy's little trooper!!
Our next appt is in July for his 6 month appt! We will see Dr sooner if he gets approved for Therapy, though!

No commuting here.. I'm a SAHM. Husband's work is about 10-12 miles away.

Attached.. I actually had to look that up!
{five} do you eat the unpopped kernels of popcorn at the bottom of the bag?
No. I don't like popcorn, but my older two devour it!
{six} what is the strangest gift you’ve ever received?
Probably some used makeup... Gross!

Las Vegas... I started watching it after it got cancelled.
{eight} what is something that you are saving money for right now?
We are trying to save for a car. We are in dire need of a bigger car.

Photography. I need to get a new lens for my Canon!

Maybe a handful... When I finally get a night out with the friends, I like to look my best :)

Teeth Already?!?
This morning when I was playing with Allen, I noticed something on his gums.. I made him laugh so I could see in his mouth.. And what exactly did I see...?!?
A Tooth!!!
Allen got his first tooth! His top right tooth poked through. No wonder he has been so fussy and drooling like crazy. Every time I would hold him, he would grab my hand and start chewing. His two bottom teeth are right at the gum line, so any day for those!!
He is getting too big too fast!
In other news...
I got a call from the Ellen show!!! They were asking if you or someone you knew needed a new car! So I sent in an email about why we needed a new car....
On the voicemail the lady said that she wanted to follow up with me and ask me a few questions... So I called her back and left a message. She called me back and we talked about the family and she asked for everyones names, ages, work places, etc..
We also talked about how we are doing financially since I'm a sahm and why we need a new car. I told her that we need a new car because we have a 97 Honda accord with over 200,000 miles on it and that we are constantly fixing things on the car. I want my kids to be safe and that the kids are squeezed in the back seat with no room. Plus we are a one car family and its hard getting the kids up early so I can take Dave to work in order to get DJ to school.
She also asked how long I have been watching Ellen and what I liked about the show. She asked if I ever got a call from Ellen, how would I react....
So she wants me to send a few family pictures and she is going to make a profile for us. She will then give it to her supervisor and if her supervisor likes our story, they will call me!!! That can be as early as today or tomorrow!!!
So if you can, please send lots of prayers, positive vibes and whatever else you can muster up!!! I love you all!!!
