Surrogacy Update..

I guess this blog needs a Surrogacy Update..

First let me give you a little back story..

I flew down to L.A. back in November and had my Medical Evaluation. After everything was done, I had to lose about 28lbs to be under a certain bmi. After the IVF Dr & my Caseworker talked, the family that I was working with decided not to wait for me to lose the weight. They wanted to start looking for another family, but if they couldn't find a family by the time I lost the weight, we would work together.

So, as of last week, I have reached that 28lb weight loss goal!! I contacted my caseworker and told her about it and we were both pretty excited!! It has been a rough 28lbs, but I am so glad that we can now move forward!

So here is my list of what needs to be done now!!

- Go to my Dr's and get a Weight Check done. Send it to my Caseworker and then she will send it to my IVF Dr. {Dr. Appt is next week!!}

- IVF Dr will look over everything and decide whether or not we can move on with the scheduled plan...

- If Approved, We will either go back to our original IP Family and pick up where we left off or wait for another family. We love our IP Family :)

- I will have to fly back down to L.A. for another Medical Screening and my Psychological Screening. I will be shown how to give myself my shots and what shots/meds I will be on.

- Start Contracts and find out when we will be doing the Embie Transfer!!

- Start my meds/bc and be on them for at least 1 month.

- Fly down to L.A. for the Embie Transfer!! {Meet Our IP's!!!}

- Wait for that BFP!!!

So there you have it!! This is my list that I can't wait to start crossing off!! I just want to say a big Thank You to everyone who has sending prayers and good vibes throughout this whole process!!

1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch?

- I went to see it in the theaters and had my ears plugged and eyes covered for almost the whole movie. Just knowing that it is based on a true story absolutely terrifies me! 

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven't yet?

- I have always wanted to get into Glee.. I have watched a few episodes, but I can't seem to get glued in.

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list?

- I want to go Skydiving really really bad!! My dad and I have always talked about jumping together, but things always come up, like me always being pregnant around his birthday and mine.. lol

4. Would you ever travel alone?

- Yes. I actually have traveled alone a few times this past year. Once in July for the Scentsy Convention in Las Vegas & in November to Los Angeles for my Medical Screening for my Surrogacy Journey! I love traveling alone! I flew alone when I was in my teens when I went to visit family in San Diego & Tennessee :)

5. What activities do you like to do alone?

- Go grocery shopping. I like to coupon, so I need to concentrate on what I am doing or else I will go over what I want to spend or get things we don't need!

The many faces of Reagan...

Have I ever told you that I love having a little girl?!?

Don't get me wrong, I love my boys too! We get down and dirty in the mud with dump trucks and hot wheels..

but...

She absolutely loves shopping with me and loves all of the girly frilly outfits. I love doing her hair, well, what hair she does have..  I just wish it would grow! She is a spitting image of how I was growing up. She can be very girly girl and not want to get dirty one day and then the complete opposite the next.

I love shopping for her, so when I saw that Zulily was having a rockin' deal on Toms, I knew that Miss. Reagan had to have these! Fed-Ex also dropped them off today!!

Seriously?! These are the cutest shoes! She is going to be my little fashionista. She already loves to pick out her own clothes and accessorize to the max.. lol

She has the sassy personality and has never met someone she doesn't like. She is very sensitive and will shed tears at the drop of a dime. If I barely raise my voice, she is in tears. But if her brothers take something from her, she is ready to rumble.. lol Even on her whiniest days, I wouldn't trade her for the world. And believe me, her whining is like nails on a chalk board.. {I'm her mama, I can say that!}

Her heart is so tender and is my social butterfly. She will befriend anyone that is willing.. I love her urge to learn and discover new things each day. She is a hands on learner and picks things up quickly. She is very thorough when it comes to trying something new or working on a school project. Soaking up every ounce of knowledge. Its hard to believe that she is already 4 1/2..

She will be starting Cheerleading this year with her Football brother.. She will be my forever flyer as my friend {who also is one of the cheer coaches} said. My little petite princess is growing up into a beautiful little big girl. I can't wait to see what the future brings for her. So much potential in such a little girl :)

Bestie – First off, I am so proud of you!! You and R brought such a precious bundle of joy into this world and he is an absolute doll! I love that handsome little boy already! I know things are tough right now with him in the nicu, but be strong mama.. You are one of the strongest people I know and I know that you can get through this, especially with R by your side. I am always here for you!

Justin Bieber – What The F***?!? Do you seriously think this is a fabulous outfit? It looks like your mom forgot to change your diaper! I pray to god that Regs does not start liking you! I for one can’t stand your ass… And your music isn’t all that! I am pretty sure that if 2 Pac & Biggie were still alive, you would have absolutely no chance! Oh and not to mention all of the "Beliebers." That's what they're called right? Well they need a freaking wake-up call.. If you personally do not know him, then you seriously need to calm your ass down!

Spring – I would love it if you stayed! This weather is pretty amazing! I have always love california's spring and fall. Summer, eh, not so much.

Justin Timberlake - I am so excited that you are back!! I really, really, really want to go to their concert at Candlestick, but I doubt it will happen.. Plus, I think its freaking hilarious that Kanye West is getting jealous!

Scentsy - Oh how I love new catalogs!! Today starts the new Spring & Summer Catalog!! New Warmers, New Scents & New Buddies!! Seriously?!? How freaking cute are these guys!!
