Disneyland Vacation: Day One!

Disneyland was a complete blast!!!

We stayed at the Grand Californian and let me just say that this hotel is freaking amazing! I think that if we were going to go again, we probably wont stay at such an extravagant hotel. We would probably stay at a more kid friendly hotel like the Disneyland/Paradise Pier Hotel.

We got there on Monday and hung around Downtown Disney and the kids were so excited to get into Disneyland and California Adventures!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The kids couldn't wait to go to bed so they could wake up and get to ride rides and see characters!!!

Life has been absolutely crazy with Football, Cheer, School, Birthdays, Holidays and everything in between!

Lets start off with DJ...

His football team had an Amazing Year!! They went 6-2 for the season and even went to the playoffs!! He is doing fabulous in school (minus the fidgeting) and is loving life!

 

 

 

 

 

He cant wait until flag football starts up next month! He is such a blessing!

Reagan's Cheer Nationals Fundraisers!!!

Hello Blogger Friends and Family!!

As most of you know, my daughter Reagan could not attend Cheer Nationals this past January because I was too far along into my Surrogacy Pregnancy to travel out of state. Well this year I wont be pregnant and Reagan is so excited that she will be able to attend this year!! This is Reagan's Second Year as a Bella Vista Jr Bronco Cheerleader and is loving every minute of it!

JAMZ Nationals are held at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas every year. We have decided to start Fundraising NOW! The reason for our fundraising is that we can offset the cost of Airfare, Hotel, Competition Fees and Registration Fees. Our goal is to raise $1,000 for our expenses.

If you do not wish to purchase anything from our Fundraisers but wish to make a "Donation" to her Cheer Nationals Fund, there are Three Ways:

Nurse Goodie Bags!

While I was pregnant with Surro Babe, I was thinking of ideas for Nurse Gifts. So I hopped on over to Pinterest and started searching for Nurse Goodie Bags. Oh Em Gee, I found some really cute ideas and couldn't wait to start mine!

I decided to pick things that I would like if I was a nurse. I also asked friends who worked in the hospital field. So, here is what I decided to put in the goodie bags!

I purchased the bags (10 for $5) and Thank You Cards at Target. The String, Tags, Stickers, Stamp and Ink were purchased at Joanne’s Craft Store. Assembling them was a breeze and they looked really cute!

I made 15 bags to take to the hospital, 3 for my friends, 6 for L&D Nurses and 6 for Postpartum Nurses. I had my husband put them on the counter in my room and let every nurse that came into my room and helped us, could grab a bag! I’m not gonna lie, the nurses that came into my room and were a part of this day were incredible! It could have been from the goodies, but either way, they were so caring and that made our day that much sweeter! My Postpartum Nurses were very grateful also. From what I heard, they always get left out. I wanted to make them feel appreciated too! I wish I would have thought of this when I was pregnant with my own kids!

I purchased the hand sanitizer, mints, gum and tissue in the Travel section of Target. The Luna Bars were 6 packs and were on sale. Milano Cookies were a BOGO! The candy was on sale because of Easter!

Splash Pad Photo Dump!

We took the kids to a new Splash Pad and they absolutely loved it!! Here is the photo dump of their fun day!
