Self Maternity Photos...

36 weeks...

How far along: 36 weeks! 27 days till my due date!
Total weight gain/loss: 7lbs/-23lbs
Size of the baby: A Crenshaw Melon. Your baby is still packing on the pounds — at the rate of about an ounce a day. He now weighs almost 6 pounds and is more than 18 1/2 inches long. He's shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered his body as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that covered and protected his skin during his nine-month amniotic bath. Your baby swallows both of these substances, along with other secretions, resulting in a blackish mixture, called meconium, will form the contents of his first bowel movement.

Sex: Mommy's Little Man!

Maternity clothes: Most Def! I love my maternity clothes!
Sleep: This question always cracks me up... Sleep is getting much, much harder every night.
Movement: All the time! He gets up in my ribs and kicks me.. not very nice!
Food cravings: Nothing too bad just milk and pickles.. hahaha
Food aversions: Nope...
Morning sickness: No thank goodness!
Symptoms: My hips hurt more and more every day, I have been getting a lot of shortness of breath because Allen is taking up so much room, Feet are starting to swell and my ankles are completely gone, oh not to mention the headaches.. :(
Labor signs: Just tons and tons of BH/Contractions.. Oh and the yucky mucus plug has been detaching.. *gag*

Belly button in or out: In
What I miss: My old body, being able to sleep on my belly and through the night...
What I'm looking forward to: My appt on Thursday! Can't wait!!

Milestones: Having a healthy baby boy growing inside of me :)

Yo Gabba Gabba Meet & Greet!!!!

Today was the Yo Gabba Gabba Meet & Greet at the Mall today! Dave found out about it a few weeks ago and DJ has not stopped talking about it since.

I figured the line would get long fast so we dropped Dave off at work and went straight to the mall. We got there about 10:30am, took DJ to the bathroom and then headed to the already formed line. When we got in line I noticed that there were about 30 people in front of us, not too bad. The kids started to snack on their cookies and graham crackers I brought and playing with each other.

The little girls in front of us let DJ and Reagan play with their dolls. DJ and Reagan stayed busy for a good 30 minutes with them. It was so nice of them. Then they got YGG Stickers! As you can see in the picture, Reagan did not want to give up those dolls. I guess I know what to get her for Christmas.. lol

DJ showing his off... Reagan was starting to get tired and I knew a meltdown was coming soon...

They were starting to get a little antsy from sitting so long, but they were doing surprisingly well.

And then the meltdown begins.. It started about 15 minutes before the Meet & Greet was going to start. Nothing would calm her down and she drank all of her milk that was in her sippy :( A few minutes later the carolers came by and started singing. Thank Goodness!!!

They soothed Reagan and she passed out!!! Here is a picture of all of us... Don't mind the fact that I look like crap, I'm 36 freaking weeks pregnant ;)

DJ was super excited that he could see them in the store from where we were in line :)

DJ was a little scared at first but when I went over there with him, it was on! He was high fiving them and didn't want to leave.. lol

We got a picture with Plex, Brobee & Foofa... I had to wake Reagan up to get her in the picture, hence the reason she looks so out of it. They had so much fun!!! {I had to take a picture of the picture because our scanner is down)



They are still talking about how cool it was to see them. That makes me feel like such an awesome parent for doing this for them! 

35 week appt...

Today was my 35 week appt and everything went great! We get there and I get weighed {No Weight Gain In 2 Weeks!}, Pee in the cup and then head down to the Ultrasound Room. I get my BP taken 110/68 and then we wait for the Dr.

Dr comes in and notices that Dave is with me. This was Dave's first time going to an appt for this pregnancy. We talk about the usual stuff and then its ultrasound time! Allen is back to head down, which is great and is measuring 36.4 instead of 35.4. He is also weighing in at 6lbs 5oz, which is a good size for a almost 36 weeker.

Since Dave was there, Dr. made sure that he saw that Allen was a Boy by showing us his goods... lol

We all got a good laugh out of that, Allen was happy to show off his goods... After that we talked about how if my water breaks or if my contractions are less than 5 minutes apart to go to the hospital. We only live 8 minutes from the hospital {if we make every green light}. Other than that, I go back on Thursday the 16th.

Christmas Lights!!!

Tonight we decided to take the kids to Dovewood Ct. The whole court is decorated in christmas lights. This year they were old enough to walk the court and actually have fun! They were loving all of the different lights and decorations!
