Crafty!

While on Pinterest, I was going through my home projects board and remembered that I wanted to do some of them.. Well, sunday was the day to get something done!

I have always wanted to do this, so why not!

I still have to add the vinyl that says

"The best times of our life..."

I found the clocks at Target for $3 each! We are getting pictures done soon, so I can put updated pictures in the frames! I might even get some nicer frames..

Misc. Monday

Wow, its been a while! I've decided to link up for Misc Monday!! Here is our misc lately...

- Dave took DJ to his first Kings Game last night! He had so much fun and can not stop talking about it! He has been looking forward to this for 2 weeks! He was getting so tired after only an hour. We told him to take a nap before they went, but he didn't want to.. lol

- I am taking Reagan to go see the Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream on Saturday! I have been wanting to take her, but tickets have been so expensive. I found great seats for a great price that I couldn't pass them up! Yesterday we went and picked up her new Rapunzel Dress for the show! I personally have never been to one of these shows, so mama is pretty excited too!!

- All three kids have been to the dentist within the past 2 weeks and NO CAVITIES!! My kids love to brush their teeth and I catch them in the bathroom all the time brushing.. It makes me proud!

- I juiced for 5 days this week and lost 5lbs! I started back up this morning! I have been drinking the Naked Juices and Odwalla Juices. I have so much energy and feel amazing!!

- I am doing the Run or Dye with a friend in March!! I am super excited to do this!! I wanted to do the color run last year, but I didn't sign up in time. Is it bad that I already have my outfit picked out?!?

- We went to Skipolini's for dinner on saturday night with the inlaws.. OMG their pizza and homemade Sangria was pretty amazing!! So amazing, I actually had two!! Definitely going again! They even had a gelato bar! I got the White Chocolate Raspberry and it was heaven!

Looking for Birth Parents..

Well, here we are…

We have finally turned to social media..

Dave and I have been on the search for his Birth Parents for a few years now. Every time we get close to any answers or anything important, we get hit with a dead end. So now it’s your turn to help us!

This is my husband David. He was adopted when he was about a month old. His Birth Mother and Birth Father were both college students. In the packet he received, it said that his BM had joined the Air Force right after she gave birth. We have information on them regarding their family history and their extracurricular activities, but nothing with their names on it. We do know that his BM loved to play sports and his BF loved music. Dave was in band in high school and has played soccer for over 20 years. It’s so amazing what we inherit from our parents.

Dave wants to know his BP’s. He has wanted to know for years. We have finally decided that now was a great time to bring in social media. I have posted on my Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.

It’s amazing and so heartwarming that within 14 hours, our picture had been shared over 700 times. It makes me want to cry… I am so thankful for friends and strangers who are willing to share my husband’s picture. When we started our family, we had no idea what Dave’s side had. It was sad when my ob put “ADOPTED” on the “fathers history” spot. I wanted to know what his birth family had and if it would affect our children. 

Dave's parents have always been supportive with him wanting to find his Birth Parents. So here are the stats:

Born on December 8, 1981 at Enloe Hospital in Chico, Ca. 

His name was either Nicholas Home or that might be the Children's Home he was in.

Birth Mother's Birth Date is October 1957.

Birth Father's Birth Date is March 1959.

Birth Mother joined the U.S.A.F. soon after having David.

Allen's Mickey Mouse 2nd Birthday Party!!

Allen's Mickey Mouse Birthday Party was on Saturday!! He had an absolute blast! So much prep went into this party and I couldn't have done it without friends and family! It's so hard to believe that Allen is two already!

The kids had so much fun and we are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family. We want to thank every single one of you that celebrated our little boys 2nd birthday with us!

Misc. Monday!

I guess it has been a while since I have blogged.. Oops!

This past week the kids were finally back in school!! Yahoo! We have settled back into our routines nicely and things have been going great!

Saturday, DJ had Football Conditioning for the Jr. Broncos! They were getting a base as to where each kid was. DJ had to do Sit Ups, Pill Ups, Push Ups, Sprints and a few other things. He had so much fun out there but was oh so tired afterwards. He woke up Sunday and said "Daddy, my whole body hurts.."

While DJ was doing all of that, Reagan just sat and watched all of the cheerleaders practice. She was completely obsessed with them. She is so excited that she gets to cheer this year!! She will be one of the tiniest girls on the team. Not to mention, she will be a forever flyer lol..

Yesterday we went to a friends birthday party for her 1 year old & 9 year old. We met on Babycenter when I was pregnant with DJ. DJ and Isaiah have been friends since they were 3/4 months old! Every time we get together, they are completely inseparable!

Today I am getting things ready for Allen's party on Saturday! I love having his party a few weeks later than his actual birthday, that way christmas and new years is out of the way! I have so much Mickey Mouse stuff around the house, you'd think this was disneyland... lol
