DJ's Party Recap!

DJ wanted to pick out his birthday cake and what flavor for his actual birthday.. This is what we came up with! A Chocolate bundt cake with blue vanilla frosting & sprinkles...

DJ had his birthday party at a local pizza place. These are the only pictures I was able to take. I was too busy to take pics :( Plus I don't think they ever slowed down. They were going from the snack table back to the arcade area and back to the snack area.. lol

DJ was completely spoiled!! He got a Nintendo DS that he has been asking for for about 6 months, he also got a new bike!! He has been asking for a bike for a while too! He got some really fun presents from his friends too! He has some pretty great friends!

All in all, he had a blast at his birthday party! Now it's time to plan Reagan's Lalaloopsy Birthday Party!!!

There's a first for everything....

Do you ever feel like you are constantly at a certain place all the time? Well, I feel like I am always at the emergency room. It's always one kid who is having a hard time breathing cause they are coughing so bad or one kid who fell and hit their head.. Well, Monday night was a first for me.. I had to take Dave to the ER.

A little back story:

Apparently Dave was tossing his dirty work clothes in a bin at work, before clocking in and when he pulled his arm back, he cut his arm. So Dave went and cleaned it up and decided to just bandage it up and clock in for work. When he got home he showed me what it looked like...

I honestly could not believe he worked all day like this. I immediately said "I am gonna find a babysitter, You go and change because we are going to the er to get you stitches..." He asked me "Is it really that bad?" Ummm Duh! So I had talked to a friend who works in the medical field and we went to see her before we went to the er, just to be sure!

 

After C cleaned it up, she said that we should go in. Even she called Dave a Dumb ass for waiting so long hahaha! So she butterflied it and put a bandage over it and we were off to the er... Once we got to the er, Dave had no idea what to do. We have been together 7 years and he has never been to the er by himself or with any of the kids. I am the one who takes them. So I told him to fill out the paper and then get his wrist band. After a few minutes, we were called back and the Dr's were asking him a bunch of questions and when the Dr asked when this happened and Dave said "about 8:40 am," the Dr's just looked at him and shook their heads. lol They said, next time something like this happens, not to take his time coming in... I just laughed. They also asked him when his last tetanus shot was, while Dave was thinking the Dr said "Sounds like you will be getting one tonight!" hahaha Have I told you that my husband is terrified of needles, but he has 3 big tattoos?! They put a numbing cream on him and send us back out to the waiting room.

After about an hour, we get called back to the room. Dave gets into the bed and lets the nurse know that he is terrified of needles... This right here is the best part of the night:

Nurse: Do you have any tattoos?

Dave: Well, of course.

Nurse: Then I don't feel sorry for you! If you can sit and get tattoos, then you can get a shot!

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

So Dave got his tetanus shot and then it was time for the stitches!!! I watched and took pictures. Dave tried occupying himself with playing games on his phone...

Dave is the lucky winner of Five Stitches... After everything was done, he said that it wasn't as bad as he was making it out to be. He said that the only thing that really hurt, was the tetanus shot.. So that was the first time Dave has received stitches and been to the er with me.. Lets hope it doesn't happen again!

How is it even possible that six years have passed by so quickly? It seems like it was just yesterday that we were walking through the front door after bringing you home from the hospital. As I reflect on the past six years, I get a little teary eyed when I think of all of your Big Firsts: Crawling, Walking, Talking and even heading off to your first day of Preschool.

DJ, you have grown into such a fun loving and very energetic kid. You are constantly needing to be challenged and love to discover new talents! You can pick up any book and read it, without any help. You love to write stories and use Big Kid words. You have learned and explored so much. You have grown in so many ways and I am so very proud of you!

Reagan and Allen look up to you and love to be around you. You are the family Comedian and can make anyone laugh. You have such a tender heart and love making new friends, whether it be at the park or school. A lot of things happened this past year! You graduated Kindergarten, Lost your First Tooth, Daddy took you to your First NBA Game, Learned how to Ride a Bike & Learned to Read & Learning how to Swim!

No matter what happens DJ. No matter where our lives take us. I pray that you never forget how much I love you. I pray that you never give up on your dreams. You can do anything you set your mind to. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Just know that where ever you go or what ever you do, I will be here for you.

Crazy Fun Summer!!!

Wow...

I guess its been a while. Our laptop is still broke Bleck!

Since the last time I posted, DJ Graduated Kindergarten, Reagan Graduated Preschool and Allen has been his normal crazy self!

 

 

 

We have been enjoying our summer vacation with play dates and a lot of swimming!

This little guy will be Six on Tuesday! I can't believe how big he is already!

Oh, hello june..

How in the world is it almost JUNE?!?

This year is in the fast lane and I don't think its gonna slow down any time soon. These next 2 months are going to be crazy busy! We have so much going on in June and July, I am sure I will fall off of the blogging wagon a few times.. lol

Lets see, First off, Miss Reagan is graduating Preschool on the 5th! I can't believe that she will be going into kindergarten in the fall. She has grown into such a beautiful little girl and I can't wait to watch her soar in school!

Second, We have DJ's Sixth Birthday... Hold on, let me read that again... Yes, my first born will be Six years old on the 18th. We are having a Super Mario Theme Party at a local pizza place. He is really into Super Mario Bros and wants everything in that theme! We have invited a bunch of friends from school and I can't wait to party it up!

Third, I will be starting all of my IVF Meds within the next two weeks. My cycle should be starting soon {is that tmi for you?!} and on CD2 I will start taking my BCP's :) After 5 different types of prenatals, I have finally found ones that don't make me sick! Lucky number six I guess.. So during all of this crazyness, I will be giving myself 1-2 shots a day for the month of june and until our transfer which will more than likely be the 1st week of july. After the transfer, I will have to continue the PIO shots until I am 12 weeks pregnant.. Human Pin Cushion right here...

July is busy because we will have the Transfer!!! I will fly down to LA and be there for a few days.

Miss Reagan will be turning FIVE on the 22nd of July. Holy Crap, where is the time going?? She wants a Lalaloopsy Theme Party! She is turning into a little sassy pants! She wants to invite all of her gal pals from school and have a fun girly party!

Things will be a little slow here... Our laptop broke and we have to send it in. Thankfully my dad is letting me use his today :)
