With that being said, Allen got his first big head injury. DJ & Regs were playing in our room and Regs bumped into our loose laundry area door. Next thing I heard was a big thump and Allen screaming. I ran into the room and saw Allen on the floor along with the door. I picked him up and blood started gushing out of his head.
I completely freaked out...
I called Dave and yelled "there's blood everywhere, I don't know what to do.."
So he came home from work and Allen & I were out the door. Poor little guy was still bleeding on our way to the hospital and I was singing to try and keep him awake. He kept falling asleep and I would sing really loud and it would wake him back up..
We got to the hospital and before we could get our er bracelets on, they were calling us back. I told the story to 2 different nurses and then the fun part came... The Dr decided that she didn't want to put a staple in his head and just glue it shut. She also didn't want to give any ct scans unless it was absolutely necessary. We get him cleaned up and glued and we were on our way home..
For the rest of the day he was acting like nothing happened, then they tylenol started wearing off. He has probably had a headache for the whole day. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day!
We then headed over to my dads for a visit and so the kids can run all of their energy out...

Aw man! Poor dude. That is so scary, but glad he was ok in the end. Kids are so tough!
I'm betting it is because they all have really big brains. It makes their heads heavy and prone to bumping into things. Soon, they will have stronger necks, all the better to hold their heads in place! lol
