20 weeks... The 1/2 way mark!!!

How far along: 20 weeks!!! The half way point!!!

Total weight gain/loss: -17 (slowly gaining back the 20lbs I lost in the 1st trimester

Size of the baby: A Cantaloupe 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.) He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

Sex: .... Secret!

Maternity clothes: Yes! And they are so comfy!

Sleep: Barely.. Peanut likes to kick and move around when I'm laying down. Plus I'm up 3+x a night using the bathroom.

Movement: Oh yes! and I love it!!

Food cravings: Fruits and Orange Juice!!

Food aversions: Yesterday bacon was all bad.. I still feel sick =(

Morning sickness: just waves of it.. Thank god the everyday all day is gone!

Symptoms: Ive been pretty tired lately and my lower back and hips have been aching for about a week or two.

Labor signs: Had some contractions last week but everything is okay now.

Belly button in or out: In

What I miss: nothing!

What I'm looking forward to: My next appt in 2 weeks!!!

Milestones: 1st, 2nd, 3rd appts. Making it to the 2nd trimester. Making it to the 1/2 way point!

20 weeks! Hurray. Glad those contractions were nothing to worry about. And I know what you mean about going to the bathroom a lot at night... sheesh!
