We took my dad to the International Sportsman Expo on Saturday for his early 50th birthday present. Dave forgot the camera at my dads so we have no pics from the expo =( i was so pissed!!!! But anyways :) DJ had a lot of fun and he was great. We decided to put Reagan in the stroller without the car seat and she also did great! we were there for a few hours and Reagan decided to have a massive blowout in her diaper... And go figure there are no changing things in the bathrooms... So i just laid her seat back and changed her there. While i was doing that DJ was running all around in the empty area. He has so much energy for such a little boy! He definitely gets that from his daddy.
After we get DJ back into the stroller with the help of screaming, arching his back, and throwing his binkie we decide that its about time to leave cause DJ and Reagan are getting fussy and my dads shoulder is killing him. We go through the hunting part of the expo and DJ is pointing at deers and saying *deea*. After we fight our way out of the madhouse of people we quickly get me a watermelon snocone and start heading to the truck. I decide to let DJ out of the stroller and have him walk with me, he was super excited about that!
We get to the truck, load the kids up, and were GONE!!! DJ and Reagan fell asleep once we hit the freeway. While we were leaving we saw a bunch of protesters from probably Peta or one of those other places... they had signs that read "Fish have feelings too!" and a few others. My dad started laughing so hard, he said that he should get a sign and put "Veggies have feelings too... don't eat them" because he doesn't eat veggies.. LMAO.
all in all it was a fun day!
